We advise you to find a sportsbook that is licensed and regulated, with a reputation for paying customers out with no problems. This WynnBET review will focus on the steps that this sports betting and online casino brand has taken to keep customers’ personal details safe and its track record for security and dependability.

What is WynnBET?

WynnBET is an online sportsbook and casino operating in a variety of states. It is owned by Wynn Interactive, the online gaming division of Nevada-based Wynn Resorts. Steve Wynn, the former chairman and chief executive of Wynn Resorts, founded the eponymous business in 2002.

Wynn Resorts now has six properties – two in Las Vegas, one in Boston and three in Macau, China. Steve Wynn resigned from the company in February 2018, and it is now run by Craig Billings. In 2020, Wynn Resorts bought a European bookmaker called BetBull, which had created a product blending an online sportsbook with a social media feed. It created Wynn Interactive later that year and launched WynnBET. It is now available in nine states:

  • Arizona
  • Colorado
  • Indiana
  • Louisiana
  • Michigan
  • New Jersey
  • New York
  • Tennessee
  • Virginia

Is WynnBET a Legit Betting Site?

WynnBET is a legit online sports betting site. It is licensed and regulated by the relevant gaming control boards or gaming commissions in Arizona, Colorado, Indiana, Louisiana, Michigan, New Jersey, New York, Tennessee and Virginia.

It is a relatively new sportsbook, but it has not had any regulatory issues since launch and it upholds strict licensing conditions in the states in which it operates. You should have no concerns about the legitimacy of WynnBET, which is owned by a large company that has a Nasdaq listing.

Is WynnBET a Safe Betting Site?

WynnBET passed our security tests. It is an encrypted sports betting site, and the mobile app is secure. However, you are responsible for configuring your mobile device’s auto-lock feature to protect it from unauthorized use.

We also recommend choosing a complex password. Do not use the same password that you have chosen at other sites, and do not share your password with anyone. Make sure you don’t sign in on a public computer either.

If you follow basic security advice, your account will be fully protected. WynnBET has not had any issues with security since it launched in 2020.

What Deposit Options Does WynnBET Provide?

The list of deposit options at WynnBET is pretty small. You can use Visa or Mastercard to fund your account, but Discover and American Express are unavailable. PayPal is accepted, but there are no other e-wallet options, such as Skrill.

You can alternatively send an e-check using payment provider VIP Preferred, or you can sign up for a WynnBET Play+ card. It does not accept PayNearMe deposits, wire transfers or crypto.

The minimum amount accepted for a WynnBET deposit is $10. That is standard for the industry, although DraftKings Sportsbook has a $5 minimum deposit, so it could be a better option for low-stakes bettors.

How Are Withdrawals Processed at WynnBET?

It takes between three and five business days for the WynnBET Sportsbook team to consider and approve withdrawal requests. That means you could be waiting for more than a week to receive your funds.

That is slow by industry standards. If you are interested in rapid payouts, BetOnline often sends you the money on the same day you request it.

The choice of withdrawal options at WynnBET is also poor. You can only get paid out using a Play+ card, PayPal or VIP Preferred e-check. It does not offer any other e-wallets, bank transfers, cash at the cage or crypto.

What Welcome Bonuses Does WynnBET Offer?

WynnBET normally offers the same welcome bonus as FanDuel, BetMGM and TwinSpires. It is billed as a $1,000 risk-free bet, but there is actually risk involved.

To claim your welcome bonus, you will need to register a WynnBET Sportsbook account, make a deposit of $10 or more, and place a bet. You can bet on any sports event with odds of -150 to +10,000. If your bet wins, the profit is yours to keep.

If the bet loses, you are refunded 100% of the bet amount, up to $1,000. However, the refund is paid as a free play token, which has a 1x rollover requirement. You need to place a winning bet at odds of +100 if you want to claw back the money you lost on your first wager, as the bet token is not included in your winnings.

For example, let’s you bet $200 and lose. You will then get a $200 free bet token. If you were to place a successful bet at odds of -125, you would be paid out $160, so you would still be down $40 overall. You need to place a plus-money bet to win your money back, which is by no means easy, so it is not really a risk-free bet.

WynnBET sometimes mixes it up by offering short-term sign-up bonuses instead. If example, you could bet $10 and receive $200 in free bet credits in one recent offer, which was very appealing.

What Loyalty Bonuses Do WynnBET Customers Receive?

WynnBET runs a tiered loyalty program called Wynn Rewards. You will earn FREECREDIT and COMPDOLLARS as a reward for placing online sports bets and only casino bets. The former can be exchanged for free sports bets or casino credit, while the latter can be redeemed for dining, hotel rooms, and purchases at select retail stores, as well as at the Wynn Resorts’ spas, salons, and Wynn Golf Club.

Alongside this impressive loyalty program, you will receive some interesting promotions if you sign up with WynnBET. One great offer is called WynnBET Weekdays, which gives you a $10 free bet each Monday if you place $50 worth of bets between Monday and Friday the previous week.

It also runs a promo called WynnBET Win Hour, where you will receive reduced juice lines and odds boosts from 5pm to 6pm on Thursdays. There is a $10 free bet available if you place a $20 basketball parlay with four or more legs, and it is currently offering the chance to win a VIP trip to March Madness to anyone that bets $25 or more on college basketball.

It is good to see WynnBET investing in promos again. In 2021, it announced that it would rein in promotional spend, arguing that bonuses in the industry had become unsustainable, but there is currently a healthy selection available for WynnBET customers.

What Sports Does WynnBET Feature?

There are just eight sports featured at WynnBET: baseball, basketball, boxing, football, ice hockey, MMA, soccer and tennis. That is exceptionally narrow.

Most other sites and apps will take bets on sports including Aussie Rules, athletics, cricket, cycling, darts, golf, handball, lacrosse, motorsports, rugby league, rugby union, snooker, table tennis, volleyball, winter sports and so on. You might occasionally find a big golf tournament or motorsports event pop up at WynnBET, but it is a very slim selection of sports in general.

If you want to bet quickly and conveniently on NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL, college football, college basketball, and a few soccer leagues, big fights and tennis tournaments, WynnBET is fine. If you are looking for more variety, you will need to take your business elsewhere.

What Wagering Options are Available at WynnBET?

WynnBET has improved its wagering options in recent months. You will now find more than 100 betting options on NFL and NBA games.

However, it still provides far fewer betting options than most of its competitors. For example, we could only find spread, moneyline, game totals and team totals for upcoming NHL games, and there were no player props available on big Premier League soccer games.

If you want to choose from lots of exciting betting options, this is not the sportsbook for you. However, the small selection makes it quick and user-friendly, and the odds and lines are generally competitive.

Does WynnBET Provide Live Betting?

You can bet on a modest selection of live, in-play events at WynnBET. It mainly sticks to football, basketball, baseball, hockey, soccer and tennis. The range of live betting options is often quite small and it does not allow you to stream events live.

Once again, if you are looking for variety, this is a bad choice. If you want to bet on the biggest sporting events of the day quickly and easily, this is a very good choice.

Does WynnBET Have a Casino?

WynnBET does have a casino, and it is better than the online sportsbook. That is perhaps unsurprising, considering that Wynn Resorts is a major player in the casino industry.

The only downside is that you can only use it in two states: New Jersey and Michigan. If you are in either of those states, you will find a great range of games from Ainsworth, AGS, High 5, SG Digital, Big Time Gaming, Lightning Box, Inspired, IGT, Spin Games, Slingo and Everi, plus live dealer games from suppliers such as Evolution.

It is one of the best online casinos we have seen, as the interface is great, the games are very impressive and it has some sweet bonuses. If only the sportsbook were this thorough.

What Special Features Does the WynnBET Site Include?

You will not find many features at WynnBET. There is a tool that you can use to build same game parlays on a couple of sports and you can cash out some bets early, but that is about it.

There is no live streaming, and you will not be able to check out pre-game stats. You’ll find more features at sportsbooks like BetMGM.

One advantage to the lack of features is that the site and the app are very fast and ultra-reliable. It is a lean sportsbook, and there are not many features or options to drag down the performance and the page loading times.

What are the Key Strengths of WynnBET?

WynnBET is a trustworthy, safe online betting site. It has a great online casino featuring a broad mix of games from safe, licensed suppliers. WynnBET often provides above average prices and lines on the sporting events it features.

The sportsbook is user-friendly and fast. It has a very intense focus on mobile play, so the app is great. WynnBET also offers great customer service, the loyalty program is good, and it sometimes provides very impressive sign-up bonuses on a limited-term basis.

What are the Weaknesses of WynnBET?

This is a very limited online sportsbook. It does not accept bets on many sports, and it does offer many wagering options. It isn’t a problem if you only bet on NFL and NBA games, but you will find much better hockey, baseball and soccer sections at alternative sportsbooks.

The list of deposit and withdrawal methods is also small. That could put some players off. WynnBET is slow to process withdrawal requests too, which may be disappointing if you are in a rush to get your money.

The sportsbook has started to run a few more promotions recently, but it still lags its competitors in this regard.

Another weakness is the desktop site. This is a sportsbook that is best accessed through the mobile app, and the website is a little basic.

Is WynnBET a Reliable Online Sportsbook?

WynnBET is a reliable online sportsbook. As we have discussed in this review, it is safe, it is licensed and it is trustworthy, so we consider it a legitimate online sportsbook.

However, there are other reliable sportsbooks that provide a far better all-round experience for the user. You will be able to bet on more sports, choose from more betting options and enjoy quicker payouts from a greater variety of methods if you sign up for an account with a different online sportsbook.
